"A journey that transforms our understanding of kingship, sacrifice, waiting, and salvation."
The Journey That Changes Everything
Holy Week stands as the pivotal moment in human history—a sacred time that reveals the heart of God and transforms our understanding of power, love, and redemption. This year, we invite you to journey with us "From Crown to Cross to Crown," exploring how Jesus redefines kingship through service, demonstrates love through sacrifice, and establishes victory through apparent defeat.
Our series focuses on four key moments in Jesus's final week:
- Palm Sunday: Jesus as King — "The Unexpected King"
A humble king who rides a donkey rather than a war horse - Good Friday: Jesus as Sacrifice — "The Perfect Sacrifice"
The ultimate demonstration of love through surrender - Anticipation Saturday: Jesus as Coming Redeemer — "The Promise in Waiting"
Learning to wait with hope in the space between - Easter Sunday: Jesus as Savior — "The Risen Lord"
The world-changing reality of resurrection
This progression reveals a profound truth: Jesus begins with a humble crown of palm branches, passes through the crown of thorns on the cross, and culminates in the crown of resurrection glory. From crown to cross to crown—this pattern doesn't just tell Jesus's story; it offers a template for authentic spiritual life.
Two Ways to Engage
We've created two distinct tracks for your Holy Week journey:
1. Main Devotional Track
Comprehensive theological explorations with historical context, scripture analysis, and personal application questions. Perfect for adults seeking depth and substance in their Holy Week reflection.
2. Family Track
Interactive devotions with accessible explanations, hands-on activities, and discussion starters designed for families with children ages 4-12.
Why This Journey Matters
In a world obsessed with power that dominates, success that impresses, and comfort that insulates, Holy Week offers a radical alternative. Jesus shows us that true kingship comes through service, true victory through sacrifice, and true life through surrender.
This upside-down kingdom doesn't just challenge our world's values—it transforms them. As we follow Jesus from Palm Sunday to Easter morning, we're invited to let His journey reshape our own. The palm branch crown gives way to the crown of thorns, which ultimately yields to the crown of resurrection. This pattern of surrender and restoration becomes the rhythm of authentic spiritual life.

From Our Pastor
"Holy Week isn't just about remembering historical events—it's about entering into the transformative pattern of Jesus's life. When we follow Him from the humble kingship of Palm Sunday through the sacrificial love of Good Friday to the victorious hope of Easter, we discover a journey that reshapes our own. My prayer is that this series helps you experience Holy Week not as a distant commemoration but as a present reality that changes how you understand power, suffering, waiting, and hope."
— Pastor CDF Warrington
Begin the Journey
As we prepare for Palm Sunday, take a moment to reflect:
- What kind of king are you expecting Jesus to be in your life?
- Where might you need to surrender your expectations to see Jesus more clearly?
- How might the pattern of crown → cross → crown speak to your current circumstances?
Join us starting April 13 as we begin our journey from Palm Sunday to Easter, discovering how Jesus transforms our understanding of kingship, sacrifice, waiting, and salvation through His journey from crown to cross to crown.
"Because when we follow Christ's path from crown to cross to crown, we discover the pattern that transforms not just our understanding, but our lives."
